September 18, 2023Digital Evolution: Integrating the NYS Computer Science & Digital Fluency Learning Standards into your Classroom

This course is designed to provide educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to integrate the NYS Digital Fluency Learning Standards into their classroom instruction. Participants will learn how to create a digitally-rich learning environment that supports students’ acquisition of essential digital skills and competencies. Participants will learn how to design lessons that address the standards while also promoting digital literacy and critical thinking. Through a combination of readings, discussions, and hands-on activities, participants will gain the skills and knowledge needed to create engaging, student-centered lessons that integrate the NYS Digital Fluency Learning Standards.
The content of this course will be delivered through synchronous meetings and asynchronous work in Google Classroom.
Please note: Asynchronous work dates listed below are simply placeholders for the work of the course. You may complete asynchronous work during hours that work best for you. District approval is needed for in-service credit. (15 CTLE hours)
